The Regional Development Agency for Podravje – Maribor (RRA Podravje – Maribor) is the leading development agency of the Podravje region. With more than 30 years of tradition, it is the oldest and largest institution of its kind in Slovenia. The purpose of its operation is to improve the quality of life in Podravje by promoting comprehensive and sustainable development.
Together with partner institutions, it represents a generator of development for 41 municipalities in the region. It provides municipalities and other stakeholders with highly professional agency services in regional development, project support, drawing on European funds, networking, attracting investors, tourism development, smart specialisation and support for the business environment.
It employs more than 30 experts experienced in managing regional development projects who, in the spirit of the agency’s slogan “Challenge. Development. Progress.”, co-create the story of Podravje as a sustainably advanced society.
