Šolski center Nova Gorica (ŠCNG), founded in 1975, is one of Slovenia’s leading vocational education and training (VET) institutions and an active member of the UNEVOC Network. It offers diverse programmes across technical, engineering, ICT, health, business and environmental fields, with a strong focus on work-based learning, digitalisation and lifelong learning.

The centre works closely with industry and regional stakeholders, integrating real-world experience into education and supporting the co-creation of skills-development pathways. It is actively engaged in international cooperation, innovation and sustainable development through numerous EU-funded projects.

ŠCNG promotes learner-centred and flexible approaches, fosters applied research and innovation in VET, and contributes to the development of regional skills ecosystems and the modernisation of vocational education and training.
